MISSION & FAITH

Our passionate commitment is to win Tokyo for Christ and raise up a people who will

impact Japan and the rest of the world with the power of God.

MISSION STATEMENT

  • Offer the opportunity for people of all ages to grow in faith and in discipleship.
     

  • Offer a safe space for all.
     

  • Work with the local community to meet the needs of people.
     

  • Work in partnership with other local churches whenever possible.

FAITH STATEMENT

  • The entire bible [all the books, every chapter, every word, every letter and the arrangement] is given by the inspiration of God without error and it contains the answers to all the issues of life. (2 Timothy 3:16)

  • God is one. He is the creator of all things and infinitely perfect. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Genesis 1:1, Revelation 4:11)

  • Man was created by God in His own image but was separated from Him by sin [disobeying God]. God is love and he wants all to be saved and have a personal relationship with Him (Genesis 1:26, Ezekiel 18:23, 1 Timothy 2:3-5)

  • We can have a personal relationship with God by accepting His free gift of salvation. Which is through Repentance, Water Baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38)

  • Repentance is:
    1) Acknowledging that you are created by God  for His purpose,
    2) Admitting you are separated from God [through sin/disobedience to his word], and
    3) Surrendering your life to Him by believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ which is the complete and final sacrifice for our sins.

  • Water Baptism serving as a testimony of our death to sin and  resurrection to a new life in Christ.

  • Baptism of the Holy Spirit which is also a free gift from God. He instructs and empowers us to develop a character of Christ and live daily in the will of God. (John 3:5, Acts 2:38-39, Act 1:8, Romans 6:3-4)

  • Communion is an act of remembering what our Lord Jesus Christ did for us on the cross and acknowledging the love and unity he has given us, as one body. (1 Corinthians 11: 23-25)

  • Believers, irrespective of the race, sex, age, status, denomination are to love and respect one another and work in unity for the kingdom of God. (Galatians 3:28, John 15:12, Matt. 12:25)

  • We are commanded and empowered to reach out to the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, raise disciples and show His amazing love to the world by helping one another.

  • (Matthew 28: 17-20, Mark 16:15-18, Luke 24:47, Acts 1:8)

  • Our Lord Jesus Christ will be coming again for the church (believers) into His glory in heaven. (1 Thessalonians 3:16-18, 1 Corinthians 15:52)

  • Hell is real according to the Bible. It is a place of eternal suffering and permanent separation from God. God’s will is to save all and Has given us all the free gift salvation. (2 Peter 3:9, Revelation 20: 12-15, Hebrews 9: 27, John 3: 16-18,  1 Timothy 2:3-4
